school because the existence of library can help students in learning.
Many book that can be read by students at the library. The book is a world
window for human being, by reading the students can know what is not yet
and want to know. Many knowledge and information that can be obtained
from books at library. The background in the writing of this mini thesis is
to discuss the problems faced by library in a data processing conducted at
library of SMU PGRI 1 Majalengka that is generally still manual, such as
the noting of members data, books data, borrowing data and returning as
well as transaction of book buying as well a the storing media are also
still manual that is documentary archive. Whereas the content of this mini
thesis is to wish to change a manual work system into computerized at
library of SMU PGRI 1 Majalengka.
Designing used is by WaterFall method, an instrument used to
design a system in the form of Flow Map, Context Diagram, DFD (Data
Flow Diagram), and data collecting technique by using a research method
and observation means, interview and literature study. While the
developmental instrument of application uses Visual Basic 6.0 and
database application uses SQL Server 2000 version 7.0. As for intention of
this Skripsi is to make the Scheme of Information System and also make
the Data-Processing Information Scheme at SMU PGRI 1 Majalengka.
Viewed from the existing obstacles so the writer gives a solution to
the library party that in the implementation of the library literature it
would be made by information system of library and its software. Result
from this research Skripsi that is system which is walk in library of SMU
PGRI 1 Majalengka become computerized with the existence of scheme of
information system of library and scheme of information system of data
processing of library so that improve the efectifity and efficient of time in
the case of conducting process of member registration, loaning and book
return, new book input, and make the library report automatically and
also give the amenity for staff library in data processing of library with
the data repository in the form of harddisk in computer can present the
