- AbstractA Smart Grid is an enhanced version ofelectric grid in which the demand and supply are balancedto meet the customers need. The paper deals with theformation of a cloud-based Smart Grid for analyzing theBid-Data and taking decisions to balance the demand ofcustomer needs. The proposed formation of smart grid willdeal with Big Data set which will contain the data regardingthe power usage patterns of customers, historic weather dataof the location, the current demand and supply details. Thegrid will operate on the data being fetched from the cloudstorage. The paper also focuses on smart grid being framedwith the renewable energy sources.
