Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penulisan ini adalah bagaimana kinerja keuangan PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia ditinjau dari Economic Value Added (EVA) tahun 2009-2013?
Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kinerja keuangan PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia ditinjau dari Economic Value Added (EVA) 2009-2013. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus (case study), yang merupakan tipe pendekatan dalam penelitian yang penelaahannya kepada satu kasus yang dilakukan secara intensif, mendalam, mendetail, dan komprehensif.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat ditarik simpulan bahwa kinerja keuangan tahun 2009 dengan metode EVA sebesar Rp. 111.176.754.000., mengandung arti bahwa kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2009 mempunyai nilai tambah ekonomis. Kinerja keuangan tahun 2010 dengan metode EVA sebesar Rp.227.292.475.200., mengandung arti bahwa kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2010 mempunyai nilai tambah ekonomis. Kinerja keuangan tahun 2011 dengan metode EVA sebesar Rp.-139.621.534.200., mengandung arti bahwa kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2011 tidak mempunyai nilai tambah ekonomis. Kinerja keuangan tahun 2012 dengan metode EVA sebesar Rp.223.685.944.700., mengandung arti bahwa kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2012 mempunyai nilai tambah ekonomis. Kinerja keuangan tahun 2013 dengan metode EVA sebesar Rp.150.276.223.100., mengandung arti bahwa kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2013 mempunyai nilai tambah ekonomis.

The problems discussed in this paper is how financial performance. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in terms of Economic Value Added (EVA) in 2009-2013?
The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze financial performance. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in terms of Economic Value Added (EVA) 2009-2013. This research is a case study (case study), which is a type of research that study approach to the case conducted intensive, in-depth, detailed, and comprehensive.
Based on the results of research and discussion can be drawn the conclusion that the financial performance in 2009 with the EVA method of Rp. 111 176 754 000., implies that the financial performance in 2009 has economic value. Financial performance in 2010 with the EVA method for Rp. 227.292.475.200., implies that the financial performance in 2010 has economic value. Financial performance in 2011 with the EVA method of Rp.-139 621 534 200, implies that the financial performance in 2011 did not have economic value. Financial performance in 2012 with EVA method for Rp. 223.685.944.700., implies that the financial performance in 2012 has economic value.
