Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kognitif. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode lapangan dengan jenis penelitian deskripstif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru ekstrakurikuler tari dan lima siswa ekstrakurikuler tari. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Penggunaan metode imitasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelompok B mampu meniru gerakan tari muli siger sesuai dengan objek yang dilihat oleh siswa. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 77,2 dengan kategori baik.&#xD; Kata Kunci: Metode Imitasi, Tari Muli Siger, Ekstrakurikuler&#xD; ABSTRACT&#xD; THE USE OF IMITATION METHOD IN LEARNING OF MULI SIGER DANCE AT EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN SMP WIYATAMA BANDAR LAMPUNG&#xD; By&#xD; Ana Aprilya&#xD; This research aimed to describe the use of imitation method in learning of muli siger dance at extracurricular activities in SMP Wiyatama Bandar Lampung. The theory used is the cognitive theory. This reseacrh is using field method with desrciptive research type through qualitavie approach. The source of data which in this research are from a dance extracurricular teacher and five dance extracurricular students. The technic which are used to collect data in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analyze in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The use of the imitation method in this study, is that group B students are able to imitation the muli siger dance movement according to the object that the student sees.
