- Classroom is one of places to get the knowledge, information and frequently exposed with the target language for foreign language learners. There, the teacher becomes one of the main sources of the target language for the students. What teacher said in the classroom will influence to students’ language output, since it is rich of information and the nearest example to the target language. This study was intended to find out the teacher’s oral feedbacks frequently used by the teacher in the classroom and their relation to students’ uptakes in speaking. Classroom interaction analysis was done based on the data transcription. The sample of the data were the utterances between English teacher and 7th grade students at SMP Xaverius 1 Bandar Lampung. The instruments for the data collection were task, observation, and documentation. The results indicated that the total of teacher’s oral feedback in three meetings were 125 teacher’s oral feedbacks which consist of 44.8% evaluative feedback, 24% corrective feedback, 8% descriptive feedback, 15.2% interactional feedback, and 8% motivational feedback. There were two important relations of teacher’s oral feedbacks. The first relation was from evaluative feedback that it was the highest but it did not give more uptakes to students. The second, the corrective feedback gave more uptakes from the learner as repair uptake. Keywords: Teacher’s oral feedbacks, students’ uptakes, jigsaw
