- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam tentang faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi anak putus sekolah di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kelurahan Rajabasa, Kecamatan Rajabasa, Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tujuh orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyajian kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi anak putus sekolah adalah kurangnya minat anak untuk bersekolah, latar belakang ekonomi orang tua, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan formal orang tua, dan lingkungan pergaulan. Kata kunci: Anak Putus Sekolah, Faktor Internal, Faktor Eksternal This research aimed to examine in depth about what factors that affecting children dropping out of school in Junior High School Level at Rajabasa Village, Rajabasa District, Bandar Lampung City. The method that used in this research was a qualitative approach. There are seven informants in this research. The data collection techniques that used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion presentation. The results showed that the factors that affecting children dropping out of school were lack of children’s interest in going to school, the economic background of the parents, low level of formal education of parents, and social environment.
