- ABSTRAK PERBEDAAN KADAR LDL KOLESTEROL PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DENGAN DAN TANPA HIPERTENSI DI BANDAR LAMPUNG Latar belakang: Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kronis dimana penyakit diabetes melitus sering berdampingan dengan hipertensi. Adanya penyakit diabetes melitus dan hipertensi diduga mempengaruhi peningkatan kadar LDL kolesterol. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar LDL kolesterol pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan hipertensi dan tanpa hipertensi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional (potong lintang) dan dilakukan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2020. Sampel penelitian sebesar 74 subjek. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yakni rekam medis. Kelompok kasus terdiri atas 43 pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 tanpa hipertensi dan 31 pasien diabetes melitus dengan hipertensi. Data dianalisis dengan mengguanakan uji T tidak berpasangan. Hasil: Hasil ditemukan bahwa rata-rata kadar LDL kolesterol pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan hipertensi sebesar 104,19±25,862 lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kadar LDL kolesterol pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe tanpa hipertensi 80,48±20,635, dengan nilai p = 0,000. Kesimpulan: terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada kadar LDL kolesterol antara pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan hipertensi dan tanpa hipertensi. ABSTRACT DIFFERENCES IN THE LEVELS OF LDL CHOLESTEROL IN PATIENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 WIT HYPERTENSION AND WITHOUT HYPERTENSION IN BANDAR LAMPUNG Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease in which diabetes mellitus is often accompanied by hypertension. The presence of diabetes mellitus and hypertension is thought to affect the increase in LDL cholesterol levels. Objectives: This research aims to determine the differences in LDL cholesterol levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension and without hypertension. Methods: This research used a cross sectional study design (cross-sectional) and was conducted in June-July 2020. The study sample was 74 subjects. The data used in this study are secondary data, namely medical records. The case group consisted of 43 diabetes mellitus type 2 patients without hypertension and 31 diabetes mellitus patients with hypertension. Data were analyzed using the T test unpaired. Result: The results found that the average LDL cholesterol level in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hypertension was 104,19±25,862 higher than the average LDL cholesterol level in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients without hypertension 80,48±20,635, with a p value = 0,000. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in LDL cholesterol levels between patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension and without hypertension.
