- Pendidikan yang tinggi sangat menentukan kualitas seseorang baik dalam dunia pekerjaaan maupun dalam lingkungan masyarakat. Hal tersebut tentunya menjadi alasan bahwa dalam menempuh pendidikan menengah saja tidak cukup untuk bersaing dalam memperoleh suatu pekerjaan. Minat melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi adalah rasa ketertarikan yang kuat terhadap ilmu yang akan terus di gali oleh sesorang tersebut yang mempunyai keinginan untuk melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat siswa melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi salah satunya yaitu teman sebaya, dukungan orang tua, peran guru, dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teman sebaya, dukungan orang tua, dan peran guru terhadap minat siswa melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi melalui motivasi belajar pada kelas XII SMAN 1 Meraksa Aji kabupaten Tulang Bawang pada pelajaran 2019/2020. Adapun populasi yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 Meraksa Aji dengan jumlah 98 siswa. Penggunakan rumus T Yamene dengan sample random sampling sehingga sampel yang diperoleh 78 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan analisis uji t dan uji F, sehingga hasil analisis tersebut dapat menunjukkan adanya pengaruh teman sebaya, dukungan orang tua, dan peran guru melalui motivasi belajar terhadap minat siswa melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi dengan kadar determinasi 0,596 atau 59,6%. This is of course the reason that taking secondary education is not enough to compete for a job. Interest in continuing to university is a strong sense of interest in knowledge that will continue to be explored by someone who has the desire to continue to college. The factors that influence students' interest in continuing to higher education are peers, parental support, the role of teachers, and learning motivation. This study aims to determine the influence of peers, parental support, and the role of teachers on student interest in continuing to higher education through learning motivation in class XII of SMAN 1 Meraksa Aji, Tulang Bawang district in 2019/2020 lessons. The population used was students of class XII SMAN 1 Meraksa Aji with a total of 98 students. Using the T Yamene formula with random sample sampling so that the sample obtained was 78 students. This research uses descriptive verification method with ex post facto approach and survey, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. In this study, to test the hypothesis using the analysis of the t test and the F test, so that the results of this analysis can show the influence of peers, parental support, and the role of teachers through learning motivation on students' interest in continuing their studies in college with a determination level of 0.596 or 59. 6%.
