- ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Metro Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi experimental design. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 46 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes pilihan jamak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test sparated varians yang diawali dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik dengan thitung > ttabel dan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik dengan katagori sedang. Kata kunci: example non example, hasil belajar tematik. ABSTRACT The problem of this research was the low thematic learning outcomes of students IV in grade of elementary school 1 East Metro. The purpose of this research were to find out the positive and significant effect of the application of cooperative learning model example non example type on thematic learning outcomes. The research method used a quasi experimental design method. This research used an experimental type with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was 46 students. The research sample uses saturated samples. The instrument used was a multiple choice test problem. The data analysis technique used a statistical t-test sparated variance test that begins with a normality test and a homogeneity test. The results showed that there were a positive and significant effect on the application of the cooperative learning model example non example type on the thematic learning outcomes with tcount> ttable and there was an increase in the knowledge of students in the medium category.
