- ABSTRAK : Masalah penelitian rendahnya hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan strategi index card match terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non- equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 40 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 40 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan strategi index card match terhadap hasil belajar dengan n-gain 0,56 termasuk dalam kategori “Sedang” yang ditunjukkan dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus t-test pooled varians. Kata kunci: hasil belajar tematik, index card match ABSTRACT : The research problem was low thematic learning outcomes of students in grade IV SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. The purpose of the research was to determine the significant effect on the application of the index card match strategy to the thematic learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used is non- equivalent control group design. The study population numbered 40 students. The research sample was determined using a saturated sample with a total of 40 students. Data collection techniques are done by using test and non-test techniques. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the application of the index card match strategy to learning outcomes with n-gain 0.56 included in the “Medium” category indicated by testing the hypothesis using the t-test pooled variance.
