PENGARUH PRAKTIK PENGEMBANGAN KARIER, KOMPETENSI, SELF-EFFICACY DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA TERHADAP KINERJA DOSEN MENUJU PROFESOR

- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan Praktik Pengembangan Karier (demensi Perencanaan Karier dan Pembimbingan/mentoring), Kompetensi, Self-efficacy dan Dukungan Keluarga terhadap Kinerja Dosen menuju Profesor. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan bantuan IBM SPSS Versi 22. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan dengan memberikan kuesioner secara simple random sampling kepada responden Dosen berkualifikasi Doktor dan berjenjang karier Lektor dan Lektor Kepala di 3 (tiga) Perguruan Tinggi di Kota Bandar Lampung, Provinsi Lampung, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa 1) tidak ada pengaruh antara Perencanaan Karier; Pembimbingan/mentoring, Kompetensi, dan Dukungan Keluarga secara parsial (jika tanpa dukungan pendanaan penelitian dan publikasinya, dukungan pendanaan/langganan akses ke jurnal terkemuka dalam rangka mengumpulkan state of the arts dan rujukan saat memulai penelitian, rasa aman dari tuduhan plagiarisme, dan faktor lain seperti perilaku proaktif, motivasi, pengalaman-pengalaman dan aksi-aksi tertentu) terhadap Kinerja Dosen menuju Profesor; 2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara Self-efficacy terhadap Kinerja Dosen menuju Profesor; 3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara Perencanaan Karier; Pembimbingan/mentoring, Kompetensi, Self-efficacy dan Dukungan Keluarga secara bersama-sama atau secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Dosen menuju Profesor. Perlu adanya penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Perencanaan Karier, Pembimbingan/mentoring, Kompetensi dan Dukungan Keluarga yang dimoderasi atau dimediasi dengan Perilaku Proaktif Individu (Dosen) atau Motivasi. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi Individu dan Praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dan para Pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi dalam pengembangan kesuksesan Karier Dosennya menuju Profesor. Intervensi praktis dari organisasi disarankan untuk membantu individu Dosen untuk mencapai kesuksesan kariernya menuju Profesor. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Career Development Practices (Career Planning and Mentoring dimensions), Competence, Self-efficacy, and Family Support on Lecturer Performance to Professors. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method with multiple linear regression analysis using the assistance of IBM SPSS Version 22. This research was conducted for 3 months by giving questionnaires by simple random sampling to the respondent Lecturers with doctoral qualifications and career-level “Lektor” and “Lektor Kepala” in 3 (three) Universities in Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province, Indonesia. The research results conclude that 1) there is no intermediate influence between Career Planning; Mentoring, Competence, and Family Support (if without the support of research and publication funding, support for access to leading journals to collect referrals when starting the research, sense of security, and other factors such as proactive behavior and motivation) on Lecturer Performance towards Professor; 2) there is a significant positive influence between Self-efficacy on Lecturer Performance towards Professors; 3) there is a significant positive influence between Career Planning; Mentoring, Competence, Self-efficacy and Family Support together or simultaneously on the Performance of Lecturers towards Professors. Further research is needed to determine the effect of Career Planning, Mentoring, Competence, and Family Support moderated or mediated by individual Motivation or Proactive Behavior (Lecturers). These findings have implications for Individuals and Practitioners of Human Resource Management and Higher Education Leaders in developing the successful career of their Lecturers to become Professors. Practical interventions are suggested to assist individuals from organizations to achieve the success of Lecturer to Professor Career.
