  • Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) berbantuan media animasi pada materi sistem pernafasan manusia yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian 4D dengan tahapan yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tahap pendefinisian (define) dilakukan dengan menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa. Tahapan perancangan (design) membuat rancangan RPP, LKS, asesmen pretest dan postestt serta lembar penilaian sikap ilmiah siswa. Tahap pengembangan (develop) mengembangkan hasil produk RPP, media animasi, LKS. Tahap diseminasi (diseminate) mengembangkan hasil produk RPP, media animasi, LKS. Uji coba luas dilakukan pada 56 siswa kelas VIII di UPT SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung. Tahap uji coba terbatas dengan menggunakan penelitian sampel kelas IX pada 32 siswa di UPT SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung dipilih secara purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas sebagai kelas kontrol. Kevalidan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media animasi hasil pengembangan diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli pada aspek kesesuaian isi, konstruksi dan bahasa. Rizki Samty Ayuningtyas Kepraktisan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantu media animasi hasil pengembangan ditinjau dari penilaian keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pengembangan LKS, pretest-postestt, angket respon guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Validitas program pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah siswa, memenuhi kriteria valid dituju dari aspek isi dan konstruk; (2) Kepraktisan program pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantu media animasi ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran yang tinggi yakni 89,70 % serta respon siswa setelah menggunakan program pembelajaran yang sangat tinggi yakni 87,66 %; (3) Keefektivan program pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media animasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing siswa dengan nilai rata-rata n-Gain sebesar 0,36 dengan kategori sedang. Nilai effect size sebesar 0,65 berkategori besar sehingga dengan menggunakan program pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media animasi keterampilan berpikir kritis serta sikap ilmiah dengan skor 11 dengan kategori terampil. Kata kunci: program guided inquiry,critical thinking, scientific attitude ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a guided inquiry learning programs (Guided Inquiry) assisted with animation media on human breathing system material that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and motivation. The design of this study uses 4D research designs conducted according to definitions, designs, develop, and disseminate. The define stage is carried out by analyzing the needs of teachers and students. The design stages make lesson plans, worksheets, pretest and posttest assessments and student scientific attitude assessment sheets. The development stage (develop) develops the results of RPP products, animation media, worksheets. The dissemination stage (disseminate) develops the results of RPP products, animation media, worksheets. Extensive trials were carried out on 56 students of class VIII at UPT SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung. The limited trial phase using a sample research class IX on 32 students at UPT SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung were selected by purposive sampling. The sample of this study used one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class. The practicality of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by the developed animation media in terms of the assessment of the implementation of learning with the development of worksheets, pretest-posttest, teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) the validity of the guided inquiry learning program to improve students' critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes, fulfilling the valid criteria aimed at content and construct aspects; (2) The practicality of the guided inquiry learning program assisted by animation media in terms of the implementation of learning with the teacher's ability to manage learning is high, namely 89.70% and student responses after using the learning program are very high, namely 87.66%; (3) The effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning program assisted by animation media to improve the critical thinking skills of students' guided inquiry learning with an average value of n-Gain of 0.36 in the moderate category. The effect size value is 0.65 in the large category so that by using the guided inquiry learning program assisted by animation media, critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes with a score of 11 in the skilled category.
