- Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) merupakan kawasan hutan mangrove di Provinsi Lampung yang memiliki kekayaan alam hayati dan non hayati dan dapat dikembangkan untuk kegiatan ekowisata. Sebagai salah satu kawasan yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan kegiatan ekowisata, maka perlu dilakukan studi mengenai potensi serta strategi pengembangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) mengidentifikasi potensi sumber daya alam, (2) mengetahui persepsi stakeholders dan (3) menyusun strategi pengembangan ekowisata. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) pada bulan Juni - Juli 2019 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan analisa SWOT yang menggunakan analisa IFAS-EFAS. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapang, studi pustaka dan wawancara menggunakan kusioner dengan score 1-5. Data yang dikumpulkan terkait data sosial, persepsi dan motivasi. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini 90 orang yang terdiri dari tiga stakeholders, yaitu 30 masyarakat Desa Margasari, 30 pengelola dan 30 pengunjung. Stakeholders dipilih dengan metode random sampling. Informasi mendalam dikumpulkan dari informan kunci dengan metode snowball sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, potensi sumber daya ekowisata di Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) meliputi: potensi lanskap dengan view penyusunnya dan air terjun, dan juga sumber daya flora dan fauna. Persepsi masyarakat dan pengelola tentang berbagai aspek dari konsep pengembangan ekowisata Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) menunjuk-kan nilai 4,1 (setuju), hal ini memberikan makna masyarakat dan pengelola memiliki keinginan yang kuat untuk membangun ekowisata guna memperoleh manfaat ekonomi, terciptanya kelestarian lingkungan dan keberlanjutan sosial budaya. Persepsi pengunjung menunjukkan nilai 4 yang berarti pengunjung setuju terhadap pengembangan ekowisata di Lampung Mangrove center (LMC), hal tersebut di karenakan kurang tersedianya fasilitas penunjang wisata. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisa IFAS dan EFAS, diperoleh interval faktor internal untuk kuadran analisa SWOT sebesar 0,37 dan interval faktor eksternal sebesar 0,76. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan ekowisata pada posisi kuadran III yaitu strategi Weakness-Opportunity (WO), sehingga strategi diterapkan yaitu meminimalkan kelemahan dengan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Rekomendasi strategi pengembangan ekowisata berdasarkan strategi Weakness-Opportunity (WO), yaitu: (1) meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, (2) meningkatkan kualitas obyek wisata baik fasilitas, pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana, (3) melakukan kegiatan promosi wisata, (4) memperjelas dan mempertegas status kelola lahan penggarap. Kata Kunci : Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC), Potensi, Strategi, Ekowisata abstract Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) is a Nature Conservation Area in Lampung Province that has natural and non-biological natural resources and can be developed for ecotourism activities. As an area that has the potential to develop ecotourism activities, it is necessary to study potentials and development strategies that are in accordance with the functions of the Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) as Education Forest. This study aims to: (1) identify potential natural resources, (2) determine perceptions of stakeholders and (3) develop strategies for ecotourism. This research conducted at Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) on June - July 2019. Qualitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis using formulation of IFAS - EFAS was conducted in this study. Data collected included social data, perception and motivation. Total of respondents in this study was 90 people representatively, consisting of three stakeholders in which 30 people were from local community of Margasari village, 30 people were from local government including those in district, sub district and head of village (in this study is classified as managers) and 30 people were from visitors. Stakeholders (tourists, communities and managers) were selected by random sampling method, in-depth information was collected from key informants using snowball sampling method. Data also collected through field observations, literature studies and interviews using questionnaires with Lickert scoring of 1-5. Results of study revealed that the potential of ecotourism resources in Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) included: potential landscapes with flora and fauna resources. The result of this study indicated that villagers and managers perception related to various aspect of Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) development concept was “agree” (score 4,1), it meant villagers and manager had strong desire to build ecotourism in order to obtain economic benefits, to create environmental sustainability and to undergo socio-cultural sustainability. Visitors perceptions indicated “agree” (score 4), this was due to lack of available tourist support facilities. The result of this research based on analysis of IFAS and EFAS, acquired internal factor interval for quadrant of SWOT analysis by 0.37 and external factor interval by 0.76. This condition showed that the development of Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) ecotourism located in quadrant III which was Weakness-Opportunity (WO) strategy, the optimum strategy needed to be applied to minimize the weaknesses by utilizing available opportunities.
