- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan varietas (Bisi-18, NK-212) dan starter (dedak, molases) pada silase tebon jagung terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar secara in vitro. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Mei--Juli 2019 bertempat di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Analisis kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar secara in vitro dengan metode Tilley dan Terry (1963). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah faktorial 2x2 dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan 3 ulangan. Varietas hijauan jagung, yang digunakan yaitu Bisi-18 dan NK-212. Starter yang digunakan yaitu molases dan dedak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan varietas jagung dan starter tidak ada interaksi (P>0,05) terhadap kecernaan protein dan serat kasar silase. Kata kunci: Kecernaan, Protein kasar, Serat kasar, Silase, Tebon Jagung. abstract This study aims to determine the effect of differences in varieties (Bisi-18, NK-212) and starter (rice bran, molasses) on corn forage silage on the digestibility of crude protein and crude fiber in vitro. This research was conducted in May-July 2019 at the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Food, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. In vitro digestibility analysis of crude protein and crude fiber by Tilley and Terry (1963). The experimental design used was factorial 2x2 in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 3 replications. Corn forage varieties, which are used are Bisi-18 and NK-212. The starter used were molasses and rice bran. The results of this study indicated that the treatment of corn varieties and starter had no interaction (P> 0.05) on the digestibility of protein and crude fiber silage.
