- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) menghasilkan LKPD berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, 2) mengetahui efektifitas LKPD berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 OKU, pengambilan sampel dengan teknik claster random sampling, terdiri dari kelas X SMA N 8 OKU yang berjumlah 72 siswa. Pengembangan LKPD dilakukan berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan atau need assessment, hasil Penelitian ini adalah terciptanya produk LKPD berbasis masalah pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 OKU. Uji efektifitas melalui perbandingan nilai gain ternormalisasi, hasil perhitungan menunjukkan N-gain sebesar 0,748 yang berarti efektifitas tinggi sehingga LKPD dinilai efektif. Selain itu hasil uji t diperoleh t hitung > t tabel, yaitu uji-t hitung 4.243 > t tabel 1,994 sesuai dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji t-test, maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kelas antara sebelum dan sesudah mengunakan LKPD, hal ini menunjukkan LKPD berbasis masalah ini efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; 1) telah dihasilkannya produk LKPD berbasis masalah, 2) LKPD berbasis masalah efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X SMA N 8 OKU. ABSTRACT This study aims to develop problem-based student worksheet in class X SMA Negeri 8, and to analyze the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. This type of research is research and development (R & D), the population in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 8 OKU, the sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique, consisting of class X SMA N 8 OKU, totaling 72 students. The development of LKPD was carried out based on the results of a needs analysis or need assessment. The results of this study were the creation of problem-based LKPD products in class X SMA Negeri 8 OKU. The effectiveness test through the comparison of normalized gain values, the calculation results show a gain of 0.748 which means high effectiveness so that LKPD is considered effective. In addition, the t test results obtained t count > t table, namely t-test 4.243> t table 1.994 in accordance with the basis of decision making in the t-test, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a difference in the class average. between before and after using LKPD, this shows that problem-based LKPD is effective in increasing critical thinking skills in economic learning.
