- Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis adalah bagian kemampuan tingkat tinggi. Dewasa ini kemampuan tingkat tinggi merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki setiap siswa. Mengingat hal tersebut, maka dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang mendukung peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD difasilitasi dengan soal open ended dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Tahapan pengembangan ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan desain, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi hasil uji coba lapangan awal dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Huda Jati Agung Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Uji efektivitas dilakukan untuk mengetahui keefektivan LKPD terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. LKPD difasilitasi dengan soal open ended yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan dalam kategori sangat baik berdasarkan hasil validasi dua validator ahli. Hasil uji coba lapangan awal diperoleh bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan, rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang menggunakan LKPD difasilitasi dengan soal open ended lebih tinggi secara signifikan dari pada rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang tidak menggunakan LKPD difasilitasi dengan soal open ended. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD difasilitasi dengan soal open ended efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Nowadays high level skills are skills that every student must have. Bearing this in mind, learning media are needed that support the improvement of mathematical critical thinking skills. Based on this, the research and development aims to develop LKPD facilitated with open ended questions and test their effectiveness on mathematical critical thinking skills. This development stage starts from research and information collecting, planning, developpreliminary form of product, Preliminary Field Testing, main product revision and main field testing. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of Al-Huda Jati Agung Junior High School in 2019/2020 Academic Year. Research data obtained through tests of mathematical critical thinking skills. The effectiveness test was carried out to determine the effectiveness of LKPD on the ability to think critically mathematically. LKPD is facilitated with open ended questions that have been developed to be used in the excellent category based on the results of the validation of two expert validators. Preliminary field trial results obtained that LKPD included in good categories. Field test results, the average increase in mathematical critical thinking skills of students who use LKPD facilitated with open ended questions is significantly higher than the average increase in mathematical critical thinking skills of students who do not use LKPD facilitated with open ended questions. So it can be concluded that LKPD facilitated with open ended questions is effective in improving students' mathematical critical thinking skills.
