- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan Peran Guru PPKn Dalam Menanamkan Sikap Bela Negara Peserta Didik di SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 620 peserta didik sedangkan sampel yang diambil 15% yaitu 93 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peran Guru PPKn Dalam Menanamkan Sikap Bela Negara Peserta Didik di SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung dari responden 93 peserta didik dengan hasil penelitian sebanyak 51 responden atau sekitar 54,85% dengan masuk kriteria kuat dan sudah berperan dengan baik. Melalui peran guru sebagai inspirator, guru sebagai motivator, guru sebagai pembimbing maka terjadi kesinambungan antara pendidik dan peserta didik lebih memahami makna yang terkandung dalam upaya bela negara mencakup mencintai tanah air, kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara, yakin akan Pancasila sebagai ideologi negara dan rela berkorban untuk bangsa dan negara diwujudkan dalam lingkungan sekolah melalui sikap yang tertanam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik dengan semangat komitmen kebangsaan seperti upacara bendera setiap hari senin, ikut memperingati hari besar nasional peserta didik memperingati sejarah perjuangan bangsa, menghargai perbedaan suku ras dan agama peserta didik menghargai perbedaan pendapat menjunjung rasa toleransi, berdiskusi bersama, bekerja bakti dan membantu teman tanpa pamrih. Untuk itu dapat disimpulkan penanaman sikap bela negara peserta didik di SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung dikatakan berperan dengan baik. Kata kunci: Guru PPKn, Sikap Bela Negara, Peserta Didik The purpose of this study is to explain the Role of Civic Education Teachers in Plannting The State Defending Attitude of Studens of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2019/2020. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method data collection techniques using a questionnaire with research subjects totaling 620 students while the sample taken 15% is respondents. Based on the the results of the study showed that the Role of Civic Education Teachers in Plannting The State Defending Attitude of Studens of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2019/2020 from respondents 93 students with the results of study were 51 respondents or around 54,85% by entering strong criteria and had a good roleof teachers as an inspirator, teacher as motivator, teacher as a guide there will be continuity between educators and students to better understand the meaning contained in efforts to defend the country including loving the homeland, national and state awareness, confident of Pancasila as the state ideology and willing to sacrifice for the nation and state manifested in the school environment through attitudes embedded in the daily lives of students with the spirit of national commitment such as the flag ceremony every Monday, participating in commemorating national holidays of students commemorating the history of the struggle of the nation, respecting the differences in race and religion of students towards Respect differences of opinion uphold tolerance, discuss together, work devotedly and help friends unconditionally. For this reason, it can be concluded that the planting of the defending attitude of the students in SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung is said to play a good role.
