- ABSTRAK Masalah penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran role playing terhadap hasil belajar tema 7 peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 45 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan sampling purposive dengan jumlah 45 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran role playing terhadap hasil belajar tema 7 peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur dengan n-gain 0,61 termasuk dalam katagori “Sedang”. Kata kunci: hasil belajar tematik, model pembelajaran role playing. ABSTRACT The problem of research was the low thematic learning outcomes of IVth grade students of SD Negeri 5 East Metro. The purpose of the research was to know the positive and significant effects on the application of role playing model towards the learning outcomes of 7th theme in IVth grade of SD Negeri 5 East Metro. This type of research was experimental research. The research design used non-equivalent control group design. The study population were up to 45 students. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling with a total of 45 students. The technique of data collection is done by test and non-test techniques. The results showed that there were positive and significant influences on the application of the role playing model to learning outcomes of 7th theme in IVth grade of SD Negeri 5 East Metro with n-gain 0.61 included in the “medium” category.
