- Latar Belakang: Sasaran yang harus dicapai dalam pelayanan kesehatan adalah ketersediaan obat dalam jenis yang lengkap, jumlah yang cukup, terjamin khasiatnya, aman, efektif dan bermutu dengan harga terjangkau serta mudah diakses. Formularium disusun dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan, melalui peningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi sehingga pengobatan rasional dapat tercapai. Pada Standar Pelayanan Minimal Rumah Sakit, penulisan resep berdasarkan formularium adalah 100% sehingga resep yang tidak sesuai dengan formularium dapat mempengaruhi mutu pelayanan pada pasien. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan kesesuaian penulisan resep formularium rumah sakit dengan mutu pelayanan pada pasien di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dan metode accidental sampling untuk kuesioner serta lembar resep masing-masing sebanyak 96 sampel. Hasil: Hasil uji statistik Fisher didapatkan nilai signifikansi adalah 0,001 (p<0,05) dan uji asosiasi Kendall’s Tau dengan nilai koefisien korelasi +0,655. Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan kuat antara kesesuaian penulisan resep formularium rumah sakit dengan mutu pelayanan pada pasien. Kata Kunci: Formularium nasional, kualitas pelayanan, resep. Background: The target that must be achieved in health services is the availability of drugs in complete types, sufficient quantities, guaranteed efficacy, safe, effective and quality at affordable prices and easily accessible. The formulary was prepared with the main objective of improving the quality of health services, through increasing effectiveness and efficiency so that rational treatment can be achieved. Based on Hospital Minimum Service Standards, prescription writing based on formularies is 100% so prescriptions that are not in accordance with formularies can affect the quality of service for patients. Objective: To determine the relationship of the suitability of prescription writing hospital formulary with the quality of services for patients in RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. Method: The design of this study was observational with cross sectional approach. Sampling was carried out using nonprobability sampling techniques and accidental sampling methods for questionaire and prescription sheets of 96 samples each. Result: Fisher statistical test obtained significance value p=0,001 (p<0.05) and Kendall‟s Tau test obtained +0,655 coefision relation. Conclusion: There is a strong corelation between the compliance in writing prescription hospital formularies with the quality of services for patients.
