- Masalah penelitian rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 10 Metro Timur. Pemelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe learning strart with a question terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 44 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan sampling purposive dengan jumlah 44 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe learning start with a question terhadap hasil belajar dengan n-gain 0,68 termasuk dalam kategori sedang ditunjukkan dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus regresi linier diperoleh data fhitung= 12,36 > ftabel= 4,35 (dengan α = 0,05). Kata kunci: hasil belajar, learning start with a question. ABSTRACT The research problem is the low learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negeri 10 Metro Timur. This study aims to determine the positive and significant effect on the application of active learning strategies type learning strart with a question on the thematic learning outcomes of students. This type of research is experimental research. This study uses a non-equivalent control group design. The study population were up to 44 students. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling with a total of 44 students. The technique of data collection was done by test and non-test techniques. The results showed that there were positive and significant influences on the application of active learning strategies type of learning start with a question on the results of studywith n-gain 0.68 included in the medium category indicated by hypothesis testing used the regresi linier formula obtained by data f count = 2.377> f table = 2.021 ( with α = 0.05).
