- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Persepsi Umat Kristiani di Bandar Lampung Terhadap Peristiwa Serangan Bom Gereja di Surabaya Pada Mei 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara kepada enam informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah teori Behaviorisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat persepsi yang timbul terhadap peristiwa bom gereja yang terjadi di Surabaya pada Mei 2018, yaitu suatu kejahatan yang merugikan banyak pihak salah satunya ialah target sasaran yang dimana hasil dari peristiwa tersebut banyak sekali korban jiwa serta rusaknya rumah ibadah. Namun dari semua rangkaian peristiwa tersebut tidak menimbulkan rasa ingin membalas dendam atas peristiwa itu, tetapi mendoakan yang terbaik untuk para korban dan keluarga yang ditinggalkan. Selanjutnya, terdapat respon yang timbul dari peristiwa tersebut, dimana respon yang timbul merasakan kesedihan, keprihatinan yang amat mendalam, serta mawas diri apakah mereka itu layak dijadikan suatu objek sasaran kekerasan yang tidak berperikemanusiaan. Terakhir, yaitu terdapat pengetahuan tentang peristiwa tersebut dan juga tentang pelaku yang dikatikan oleh salah satu kelompok ekstrimis yang berada di Indonesia yaitu Jamaah Ansharut Daulah atau biasa di singkat JAD, yang dimana hasilnya semua mempunyai pandangan bahwa JAD merupakan suatu kelompok radikal yang mempunyai paham radikalisme. Kata Kunci: persepsi, umat Kristiani, serangan bom This research aims to determine the perception of Christians in Bandar Lampung against the events of the church bomb attack in Surabaya in May 2018. This research uses qualitative methods by conducting interviews to the 6 informant. Data sources are obtained through words and actions and then photos. The data collection techniques used in this study were in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The foundation of theory used is Behaviorism Theory. The results of this study showed that there was a perception arising from the event of a church bomb that occurred in Surabaya in May 2018, which is a crime that hurt many parties one of which is target target which is the result of the event There were many casualties and the destruction of the house of worship. But of all these sequences of events do not cause revenge for the event, but pray for the best for the victims and the abandoned family. Furthermore, there is a response arising from the event, where the response that arises feeling sadness, a profound concern, and self-understanding whether they are worthy of an object of violence that is not inhumane. Lastly, there is knowledge of the event and also about the perpetrators that are trained by one of the extremist groups located in Indonesia namely the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah or commonly in the short JAD, where all the results hasve the view that JAD is a radical group that has an understanding of radicalism.
