- ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas V SDN 5 Metro Pusat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar tematik, dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) menggunakan media audio visual dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar tematik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 59 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dan uji t-test pooled varians. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik dengan Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 7,3 > 4,22 (dengan ɑ = 0,05), serta terdapat perbedaan pada penerapan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) menggunakan media audio visual dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik dengan thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,53 > 2,000 (dengan ɑ = 0,05) dan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 0,59 dengan kriteria “Sedang”. Kata kunci: hasil belajar tematik, think pair share. ABSTRACT The problem in this research is the low thematic learning outcomes of students in grade V of SDN 5 Metro Pusat. The purpose of this research was to know the significant of cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) with audio visual media to study results thematic students, and to know the difference between the application of cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) with audio visual media and a scientific approach to thematic learning outcomes. The type of research was experiment research. The research design used was non-equivalent control grup design. The population in this research amounted to 59 students. The research sample uses purposive sampling. Technique of collecting data was done by non test and test technique. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression and the pooled variance t-test statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) with audio visual media to study results thematic students with Fcount > F table which was 7,3 > 4,22 (with ɑ = 0,05), and there are differences the application of cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) used audio visual media and a scientific approach to thematic learning outcomes of students with tcount > t table which was 4,53 > 2,000 (with ɑ = 0,05) and there is an increase in student learning outcomes by 0,59 with the criteria of "Medium".
