- Program pelayanan harian Lanjut usia atau yang disebut day care service dilakukan sebagai upaya mengakomodir permasalahan pada lanjut usia. Permasalahan umum yang sering terjadi yaitu berkurangnya peran anak untuk merawat orang tua yang berusia lanjut sehingga menimbulkan kualitas hidup lanjut usia berkurang, dan akhirnya pihak keluarga mulai menempatkan lanjut usia di panti werdha. Kondisi tersebut sama halnya dengan yang dialami oleh lansia yang berada di Panti Tresa Werdha Bakhti Yuswa Natar Lampung Selatan, lansia yang berada di panti mencapai 75 orang dengan berbagai umur dimulai dari 60 tahun ke atas. tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tentang implementasi program day care service dalam pelayanan sosial lanjut usia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Bhakti Yuswa Natar Lampung Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program day care service dalam pelayanan sosial lanjut usia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Bhakti Yuswa Natar Lampung Selatan dikatakan efektif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya standar dan sasaran yang jelas, sumber daya yang mendukung, karakteristik agen pelaksana yang memberikan kemudahan komunikasi dan pengawasan dari dinas terkait, sikap dan kecenderungan implementor yang konsisten dalam menjalankan program pembinaan, komunikasi antar organisasi yang terjalin dengan baik, serta adanya perhatian yang cukup baik dari pemerintah. Kualitas pelaksanaan program sepenuhnya sudah berhasil dilakukan. Keberhasilan program day care service ini tentunya menjadi bahwa kualitas dari program sudah terpenuhi dan berjalan dengan baik. Kata Kunci : Day Care Service, Lanjut Usia, Implementasi Kebijakan, Pelayanan Sosial Elderly daily service program or the so-called day care service is carried out as an effort to accommodate problems in the elderly. a common problem that often occurs based is the reduced role of children to care for elderly parents so that the quality of life of the elderly decreases, and finally the family begins to place the elderly at the nursing home. This condition is the same as that experienced by the elderly who are in the Tresna Werdha Bakhti Yuswa Natar nursing home in South Lampung, the elderly who are in the orphanage reach 75 people with various ages starting from 60 years and over. the objectives to be achieved in this study, namely to find out about the implementation of the day care service program in elderly social services at Tresna Werdha Bhakti Yuswa Natar South Lampung Social Institution. The research method used is descriptive research type with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. the results showed that the implementation of the day care service program in elderly social services at Tresna Werdha Bhakti Yuswa Natar South Lampung Social Institution was said to be effective. this can be seen from the existence of clear standards and targets, supportive resources, characteristics of implementing agencies that provide ease of communication and supervision from related agencies, attitudes and tendencies of implementers who are consistent in carrying out development, communication programsbetween organizations that are well established, and there is sufficient attention from the government. the quality of the program's implementation has been entirely successful. The success of the day care service program is certainly a value that the quality of the program has been fulfilled and is running well.
