  • Metode Taguchi telah digunakan secara luas dalam proses optimasi terhadap suatu respon tunggal, sedangkan untuk menyelesaikan proses optimasi multi-respon dapat digunakan Metode Grey Relation Analysis (GRA). Metode Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) dapat mensimplifikasi proses multi-respon dengan mengubahnya kedalam respon tunggal. Kesalahan geometri ulir magnesium pada pemesinan bubut ulir dipengaruhi oleh diameter benda uji, kedalaman potong, dan kecepatan putar. Penelitian ini meneliti respon kesalahan pitch, kesalahan tinggi, dan kesalahan sudut ulir pada bentuk ulir luar metrik M1,5 dengan 3 level dan 3 faktor lalu pengolahan datanya menggunakan proses optimasi Taguchi-GRA. Penelitian ini menggunakan diameter benda kerja ulir digunakan 10, 14, 18 mm, kedalaman potong 0,23, 0,3067, 0,46 mm dan kecepatan putar 212, 318, 424 rpm. Hasil optimal didapatkan pada kombinasi kondisi pemotongan dengan faktor diameter 10 mm, kedalaman 0,46 mm dan kecepatan spindel 424 rpm, dimana respon kesalahan pitchnya 0,012667 mm, kesalahan tinggi 0,03833 mm, dan kesalahan sudut 1,5367o. Faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan yaitu kecepatan putar 53,16 %. Kata kunci: Grey Relational Analysis, Metode Taguchi, Bubut Ulir Magnesium, Kepresisian Geometri Ulir Taguchi method is widely used on the optimization process of single response, meanwhile to solve the multi-response case of optimization process, Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) method can be used. Grey Relation Analysis Method can be simplified the multi-response process by changing it into a single response. The Geometrically error of magnesium threads on machining process is affected by diameter of workpiece, depth of cut, and spindle speed. This research examines response of Pitch error, Height threads error, and Angle threads error on externall threads of Metric standard threads M1,5 using 3 levels of 3 factors, then processing the data with Taguchi-GRA method. This research using Diameter of workpiece at 10, 14, 18 mm, depth of cut at 0,23, 0,3067, 0,6 mm and the spindle speed is 212, 318,424 rpm. The optimal results obtained on combination of factors with diameter by 10 mm, depth of cut by 0,46 mm and spindle speed by 424 rm, this combination obtained error of the pitch as 0,012667 mm, error of the height as 0,03833 mm and error of the angle as 1,5367o. Factors that significantly affecting the response is Spindle speed with 53,16%. Keywords: Grey Relation Analysis, Taguchi Method, Threading Magnesium, Geometrically Precision of Threads.
