- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi dan pendapatan usahatani cabai merah di Desa Trimulyo Kecamatan Tegineneng Kabupaten Pesawaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Lokasi penelitian menggunakan satu desa yang dipilih secara sengaja (purposive) yaitu Trimulyo. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 60 petani cabai merah yang dipilih dengan metode acak sederhana. Faktor-faktor produksi cabai merah dianalisis dengan fungsi Cobb Douglass, dan pendapatan usahatani dianalisis dengan nilai R/C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh nyata adalah luas lahan, benih, pupuk KNO3, dan pestisida. Pendapatan per hektar dari biaya tunai yang diperoleh petani sebesar Rp 34.416.181,43 dengan nilai R/C 2,18 dan pendapatan per hektar dari biaya total sebesar Rp 24.520.886,39 dengan nilai R/C 1,63. Nilai R/C yang lebih besar dari satu berarti bahwa usahatani cabai merah di Desa Trimulyo Kecamatan Tegineneng Kabupaten Pesawaran menguntungkan untuk diusahakan dan layak untuk diusahakan kembali. Kata kunci: cabai merah, pendapatan, produksi This research aims to analyze factors affecting production and income farming of red chili in Trimulyo Tegineneng Pesawaran Regency. This research uses a survey method. Therefora, location of this research is chosen purposively namely Trimulyo. The respondents of this research are 60 red chili farmers taken by using a simple random sampling method. The factors of production are analyzed by using Cobb Douglass, while income farming is using revenue cost ratio. The result of the study shows that the factors affecting production of red chili are land, seeds, fertilizer KNO3, and pesticide. Income per hectare to cash costs obtained by farmers amounted to Rp 34.416.181,43 with R/C of 2,18 and income per hectare to total costs amounted to Rp 24.520.886,39 with R/C of 1,63. The R/C value that is greater than one means that red chili farming in Trimulyo Village Tegineneng Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency is profitable and feasible to be cultivated.
