- Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini mengacu pada Borg & Gall. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan, yaitu langkah pertama studi pendahuluan meliputi pra survey, studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan. Langkah kedua pengembangan produk, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi hasil uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji coba lapangan. Langkah ketiga adalah eksperimen model pengembangan yang telah dibuat pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pengembangan model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended memiliki kriteria valid dan praktis. Selanjutnya rata-rata skor N-gain kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa setelah mengikuti model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended lebih tinggi dari rata-rata skor N-gain kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional, sehingga model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. ABSTRACT This research is a research development that aims to produce a product in the form of a group investigation learning model assisted by open ended questions that are valid, practical and effective in improving students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities. The design of this study refers to Borg & Gall. The research procedures carried out, the first step of the preliminary study include pre-survey, literature study, needs analysis. The second step is product development, initial field trials, revisions to the results of initial field trials, and field trials. The third step is the experimental development model that has been made in the control class and the experimental class. The research subjects were students of class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro in the academic year 2019/2020. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests of mathematical reflective thinking ability. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed that the design of the development of the learning model of the investigation group assisted by open ended had valid and practical criteria. Furthermore, the average N-gain score of students 'mathematical reflective thinking ability after following the open investigation assisted group investigation learning model is higher than the average N-gain score of students' mathematical reflective thinking ability following conventional learning models, so that the learning investigation group's model is assisted Open ended questions are effective for improving students' mathematical reflective thinking skills.
