- Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat menjadi guru, dukungan orang tua dan motivasi terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru profesional melalui kompetensi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2015 FKIP Universitas Lampung tahun akademin 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif kausal atau sebab akibat dengan metode ex post facto dan survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2015 FKIP Universitas Lampung yang berjumlah 84 mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 69 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu probability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh minat menjadi guru, dukungan orang tua dan motivasi terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru profesional melalui kompetensi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2015 FKIP Universitas Lampung tahun akademin 2018/2019 sebesar 85,8%. Kata Kunci : motivasi, kesiapan menjadi guru, dukungan orang tua, kompetensi mahasiswa dan minat menjadi guru. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interest in becoming a teacher, parent support and motivation on readiness to become a professional teacher through the competence of students of the 2015 Faculty of Economic Education Study Program, University of Lampung, academic year 2018/2019. The method used is descriptive causal descriptive or causal with ex post facto and survey methods. The population in this study were students of Economics Education 2015 FKIP University of Lampung totaling 84 students with a total sample of 69 students. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with simple random sampling. The results showed that there was an influence in becoming a teacher, parent's support and motivation on the readiness to become a professional teacher through the competence of 2015 FKIP Lampung University Economic Education Study Program students in the academic year 2018/2019 by 85.8%. Keywords: motivation, readiness to become a teacher, parent support, student competence and interest in becoming a teacher.
