- Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Fransiskus Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019, bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran problem solving yang berorientasi terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis. Penelitian ini mengacu pada prosedur Research and Development dari Borg dan Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi enam tahap dan produk yang dihasilkan.Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi untuk menentukan validitas, angket respon praktisi dan siswa untuk menentukan tingkat kepraktisan, dan instrumen tes yang mengukur pemahaman konsep matematis untuk menentukan keefektifan. Analisis validitas dan kepraktisan model dianalisa secara deskriptif sedangkan data pemahaman konsep matematis dianalisis secara inferensial. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving berorientasi pemahaman konsep matematis yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata kunci : problem solving, pemahaman konsep matematis ABSTRACT This research was conducted to the students of 11th grade at Fransiskus Senior High School Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2018/2019, aimed at developing problem solving learning model oriented to understand mathematical concepts. This study refers to the Research and Development procedure of Borg and Gall which was simplified into six stages and the resulting product was refined with ASSURE learning design theory. A validation sheet to determine validity, the questionnaire responses of practitioners and students to determine the level of practicality, and a test measuring the ability to understand mathematical concepts to determine effectiveness were used to collect the data. The validity and practicality of the model were analyzed descriptively and the data of ability to understand mathematical concepts was analyzed inferentially. The results show that the problem solving learning model which was oriented to understand mathematical concepts is valid, practical, and effective.
