ABDUL MOELOEK PROVINSI LAMPUNG JANUARI 2018−DESEMBER 2019 Oleh Icha Putri Winata Latar Belakang: Stroke iskemik adalah jenis stroke yang paling umum terjadi. Hiperglikemia pada pasien stroke iskemik dapat menyebabkan efek merugikan pada berbagai proses fisiologis yang terkait dengan perkembangan infark yang mengakibatkan penurunan kesadaran. Penurunan kesadaran ini dapat dinilai dengan skor glasgow coma scale (GCS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kadar glukosa darah sewaktu saat masuk rumah sakit dengan skor GCS pasien stroke iskemik akut. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah analitik observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2019 di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeleok Provinsi Lampung bulan Januari 2018−Desember 2019 dengan melihat rekam medik. Teknik pengambilan sampelyang digunakan adalah consecutive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 134 pasien. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji Chi Square. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar GDS saat masuk rumah sakit dengan skor GCS di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung (nilai p=0.071). Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar GDS saat masuk rumah sakit dengan skor GCS pasien stroke iskemik akut di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung. Kata kunci : Kadar GDS, Skor GCS, Stroke Iskemik Akut. ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL AT THE TIME OF HOSPITAL ADMISSION WITH SCORE OF GLASGOW COMA SCALE (GCS) IN ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE PATIENTS IN DR. H. ABDUL MOELOEK HOSPITAL LAMPUNG PROVINCE JANUARY 2018−DECEMBER 2019 By Icha Putri Winata Background: Ischemic stroke is the most common type of stroke. Hyperglycemia in ischemic stroke patients can cause adverse effects on various physiological processes associated with the development of infarction which results in decreased consciousness. The decreased consciousness can be assessed by the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score. This research aims to determine the relationship between Random Blood Glucose (RBG) levels at the time of hospital admission with GCS score of acute ischemic stroke patients. Method: This research was observational analytic with a cross sectional design. The research was conducted in December 2019 in Dr. H. Abdul Moeleok Hospital Lampung Province in January 2018−December 2019 by looking at the medical record. The sampling technique used is consecutive sampling with the number of samples are 134 respondents. Statistical analysis was used Chi Square test. Result: The result showed that there is no significant relationship between RBG levels at the time of hospital admission with GCS score of acute ischemic stroke patients in Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital Lampung Province (p value=0.071). Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between RBG levels at the time of hospital admission with GCS scores of acute ischemic stroke patients in Dr. H.
