  • ABSTRAK PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK BUAH BAKAU HITAM (Rhizophora mucronata) TERHADAP GAMBARAN HISTOPATOLOGI HEPAR TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus norvegicus) YANG DIINDUKSI METHANYL YELLOW Oleh Alif Fernanda Putra Latar Belakang: Buah bakau hitam (Rhizophora mucronata) merupakan tanaman mangrove yang banyak ditemukan di Indonesia. Ekstrak buah bakau hitam memiliki sifat antioksidan dan hepatoprotektif. Kemampuan ini mampu menangkap radikal bebas yang dihasilkan akibat metabolisme methanyl yellow di dalam hepar sehingga melindungi hepar dari kerusakan. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak buah bakau hitam gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih yang diinduksi methanyl yellow. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan 25 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok, yaitu K1 yang diberikan akuades, K2 yang diberikan methanyl yellow dosis 3000 mg/kgBB, serta P1, P2, P3 yang diberikan ekstrak buah bakau hitam dosis berturut-turut 3,75, 7,5, dan 15 mg/kgBB dilanjutkan dengan methanyl yellow dosis 3000 mg/kgBB selama 30 hari. Pada hari ke-31, tikus diterminasi dan hepar tikus diambil untuk sediaan mikroskopis. Hasil: Rerata skor kerusakan hepar yang didapatkan adalah K1=1,15; K2=1,95; P1=1,50; P2=1,50; dan P3=1,35. Data diuji dengan uji One Way Anova, dilanjutkan dengan uji Post-Hoc LSD dan didapatkan hasil adanya perbedaan bermakna antara K1-K2, K1-P1, K1-P2, K2-P1, K2-P2, K2-P3, serta tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna antara K1-P3, P1-P2, P1-P3, P2-P3. Kesimpulan: Pemberian ekstrak buah bakau hitam berpengaruh terhadap gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih yang diinduksi methanyl yellow. Kata Kunci: methanyl yellow, histopatologi hepar, ekstrak buah bakau hitam ABSTRACT EFFECTS OF BLACK MANGROVE FRUIT EXTRACT (RHIZOPHORA MUCRONATA) ON LIVER HISTOPATHOLOGY OF WHITE RAT (RATTUS NORVEGICUS) INDUCED BY METHANYL YELLOW By Alif Fernanda Putra Background: Black mangrove fruit (Rhizophora mucronata) is a mangrove plant that is found in Indonesia. Black mangrove extract has the antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties. It can capture free radicals resulting from the metabolism of methanyl yellow in the hepar thus protecting the hepar from damage. Objective: To find out the effect of the black mangrove extract of the histopathology of the white rat-induced methanyl yellow. Method: This research used 25 rats that are divided into 5 groups, namely K1 given aquades, K2 given methanyl yellow dose 3000 mg/kgBB, and P1, P2, P3 which is given a black mangrove extract in consecutive doses 3.75, 7.5, and 15 mg/kgBB followed by methanyl yellow dose 3000 mg/kgBB for 30 days. On the 31st day, rats were terminated and their liver were taken for microscopic preparations. Result: The average of the hepar damage score is K1 = 1.15; K2 = 1.95; P1 = 1.50; P2 = 1.50; and P3 = 1.35. The Data was tested with the One Way Anova test, followed by the LSD post-hoc test and significant mean differences are found between the groups of K1-K2, K1-P1, K1-P2, K2-P1, K2-P2, K2-P3, and there are no significant differences between the groups of K1-P3, P1-P2, P1-P3, P2-P3 Conclusion: There is an effect of giving black mangrove extract on liver histopathology of the white rat-induced methanyl yellow.
