Daftar Isi:
Kata Kunci: buku ajar matematika, pendekatan realistik, kemampuan berpikir kreatif. abstract This study aims to produce mathematics textbooks based on a realistic approach that is feasible to improve the creative thinking abilities of grade V students of elementary schools. This type of research refers to Borg and Gall theory. The research sample is VB SDN 1 Rajabasa class as an experimental class and V B SDN 3 Rajabasa as a control class. The results of the study are mathematics textbooks based on a realistic approach that is appropriate to be used to improve creative thinking abilities. This is evidenced by the average value of experimental class students higher than the control class with. In the experimental class based on five indicators of creative thinking ability, students were creative enough, 2 children, 21 creative children and 5 creative children, while the control class had 13 creative children, 10 creative children, and none of the children were classified as very creative. Key words: mathematics textbooks, realistic approaches, creative thinking skills.
