  • Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sintaks/langkah model guided discovery learning dengan quick on the draw yang valid dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self-efficacy siswa. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, penyusunan model pembelajaran, validasi, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Trimurjo tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan Ujit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sintaks atau tahapan model guided discovery learning dengan quick on the draw pada materi sistem persamaan linearr tiga variabel memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis digunakan dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Selanjutnya rata-rata skor N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self-efficacy siswa setelah mengikuti model guided discovery learning dengan quick on the draw lebih dari rata-rata skor n-gain kemampuan berpikir kritisi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga model guided discovery learning dengan quick on the draw efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, guided discovery learning, quick on the draw, selfefficacy ABSTRACT This research aims to produce a syntax / step model of guided discovery learning with quick on the draw to improve students' mathematical critical thinking ability and self-efficacy. This research stage starts from the preliminary study, the preparation of learning development, validation, initial field trials, and field trials. The research subjects were students of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Trimurjo in the academic year 2019/2020. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests of mathematical critical thinking ability. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed that the syntax or stages of the guided discovery learning model with quick on the draw in the linear system of three-variable equations met the valid and practical criteria used and included in the categories very well. Furthermore, the average NGain score of students 'mathematical critical thinking ability and self efficacy after being given the guided discovery learning model with quick on the draw is more than the average n-gain score of mathematical critical thinking ability and self-efficacy of students who follows conventional learning models, so the guided discovery learning models with quick on the draw effective to improve mathematical critical thinking ability and self-efficacy of students.
