- ABSTRAK PENGARUH HORMON PERTUMBUHAN REKOMBINAN KERAPU KERTANG TERHADAP PERFORMA REPRODUKSI DAN PERTUMBUHAN BOBOT MUTLAK NILEM Osteochilus hasselti (Cuvier & Valenciennes, 1842) MELALUI METODE ORAL Oleh Nadila Sutrisno Beberapa permasalahan dalam budidaya nilem adalah kualitas telur, kontinuitas telur, dan terbatasnya waktu pemijahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh hormon pertumbuhan rekombinan kerapu kertang terhadap performa reproduksi dan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak nilem melalui metode oral. Rancangan penelitian meggunakan lima perlakuan: tanpa kuning telur, phosphate buffer saline, dan tanpa penambahan r-ElGH (A, K (-)), dengan penambahan kuning telur, phosphate buffer saline, dan dosis r-ElGH berbeda (0, 20, 35, 50 mg/kg pakan; B (K (+)), C, D, dan E) dengan ulangan individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan r-ElGH berpengaruh nyata terhadap performa reproduksi: fekunditas 28,84 % dan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 14,32 % pada nilem dibandingkan dengan perlakuan K (-). Kata Kunci : Osteochilus hasselti, r-ElGH, performa reproduksi, fekunditas, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak ABSTRACT EFFECT OF RECOMBINANT GIANT GROUPER GROWTH HORMONES ON REPRODUCTION PERFORMANCE AND ABSOLUTE BODY GROWTH OF NILEM Osteochilus hasselti (Cuvier & Valenciennes, 1842) BY ORAL TREATMENTS By Nadila Sutrisno Some problems in nilem culture are the eggs quality, eggs continuity, and limit of spawning time. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of recombinant giant grouper on reproductive performance and absolute body growth of nilem by oral treatments. The study design used 5 treatments, without egg yolks, phosphate buffer saline, and without r-ElGH (A, K (-)), with the addition of egg yolks, phosphate buffer saline, and different r-ElGH dose (0, 20, 35, 50 mg/kg of feed, B (K (+), C, D, and E) with individual replications. The result showed that the addition of r-ElGH significant affected on reproductive performance: fecundity 28,84 % and absolute body growth 14,32 % in nilem compared with K (-).
