- Penguasaan bahasa asing sangat dibutuhkan di era globalisasi saat ini, namun belum semua anak belum dapat berbahasa asing, dan penguasaan bahasa asing, hal ini disebabkan latar belakang orang tua yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan program bilingual dan penguasaan bahasa asing anak usia dini di TK Alexandria School Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bilingual dilakukan di TK Alexandria School Bandar Lampung dilakukan terintegrasi mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan sampai dengan evaluasi. Program bilingual dilakukan meliputi 4 hal yakni perbendaharaan kata (vocabulary), membaca (reading), menulis (writing) dan berbicara (speaking). Keempat program tersebut terintegrasi dalam seluruh proses pembelajaran baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Sehingga penerapan program bilingual sedikit banyak berdampak terhadap penguasaan bahasa asing pada anak, baik dalam hal vocabulary, reading, writing dan speaking meskipun belum maksimal. Kata Kunci: anak usia dini, bahasa asing, bilingual, penerapan program ABSTRACT Mastery of foreign languages is needed in the current era of globalization, but not all children cannot speak foreign languages, and mastery of foreign languages, this is due to different parental backgrounds. This study aims to determine the application of bilingual programs and mastery of foreign languages in early childhood at Alexandria School Kindergarden Bandar Lampung. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with an ex post facto approach. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation, while data analysis was done in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that the bilingual program carried out in Alexandria School Kindergarden Bandar Lampung was carried out integrated starting from planning, implementation to evaluation. The bilingual program includes 4 things namely vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking. The four programs are integrated in the entire learning process both in the classroom and outside the classroom. So that the application of a bilingual program more or less affects the mastery of foreign languages in children, both in terms of vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking even though it is not yet optimal.
