- Masalah dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, sebagai implikasi LKPD yang digunakan tidak mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Bangunrejo. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan dan keefektivan LKPD berbasis pictorial riddle yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan merujuk pada teori Borg & Gall. Populasi pada penelitian ini mencakup peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Bangunrejo, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, Provinsi Lampung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 204 yang didistribusikan dalam 7 kelas. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 32 siswa kelas IVB UPTD SDN 1 Tanjung Jaya. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket, lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis pictorial riddle yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hai ini dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kategori “Sangat baik”. LKPD berbasis pictorial riddle juga efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, dibuktikan dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada skor pretest dan posttest dengan hasil perhitungan gain sebesar 0,50 dengan kategori “Sedang”. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD matematika berbasis pictorial riddle layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SD. Eka Septiana abstract The problem in this research and development is the low ability of students' critical thinking, as an implication the Student Worksheet that is used does not support the critical thinking skills of Fourth Grade Elementary School students in Bangunrejo District. This research and development aim to develop and describe the feasibility and effectiveness of the Student Worksheet based on the pictorial riddle that can improve students' critical thinking skills. The research and development model used is referred to as Borg & Gall's theory. The population in this study included fourth-grade students in Bangunrejo District, Central Lampung District, Lampung Province. The population in this study were 204 distributed in 7 classes. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique of 32 fourth grade students of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of Public Elementary School 1 Tanjung Jaya. Data were collected using questionnaires, observation sheets, and test questions. Data analysis techniques used in this study were quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that student Tanjung Jaya based on the pictorial riddle that was developed was appropriate and effective to improve students' critical thinking skills. This is proved by the results of the validation of material experts and media experts in the "Very good" category. Pictorial riddle based Student Worksheet is also effectively used in improving critical thinking skills, as proved by the learning outcomes of students on the pretest and posttest scores with the results of the gain calculation of 0.50 in the "Medium" category. Based on the data analysis of the results of this research and development, it can be concluded that the mathematical Student Worksheet based on pictorial riddle is feasible and effective to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students.
