- ABSTRACT THE USE OF GROUP GUIDANCE WITH INFORMATION TECHNIQUE IN STABILIZING CAREER PLAN AT THE NINTH GRADE IN SMP 22 BANDAR LAMPUNG By Martha Shinta Damai The problem of the research was whether information technique of group guidance could be used to increase the stability of the student's career plan. The objective of this study was to find out the improvement in career plan stability by using the information technique of group guidance services for the ninth grade students of SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2018/2019. The method in this study was pre-experimental. The research subjects were 8 students who had low career plan stability. The results of data analysis used the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test which gained z_hitunng= -2.521 < z_tabel= 1.645. It meant Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Briefly, it could be concluded that the information technique of group guidance could be implemented to increase the consistency of the career plan for the grade ninth students of SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2018/2019. Keywords: career plan stability, guidance and counseling, the information technique ABSTRAK PENGGUNAAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN TEKNIK PEMBERIAN INFORMASI DALAM KEMANTAPAN RENCANA KARIR SISWA KELAS IX DI SMP 22 BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh Martha Shinta Damai Permasalahan penelitian adalah apakah bimbingan kelompok teknik informasi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemantapan rencana karir siswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemantapan rencana karir dengan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik informasi pada siswa kelas sembilan SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperiment. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 8 orang siswa yang memiliki kemantapan rencana karir yang rendah.. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test, diperoleh z_hitunng= -2.521 < z_tabel= 1.645 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitan adalah bimbingan kelompok teknik informasi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemantapan rencana karir pada siswa kelas sembilan SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung Tahun ajaran 2018/2019.
