  • ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERBASIS INQUIRY TERBIMBING MATERI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRTITIS DAN SIKAP ILMIAH SISWA Oleh RITA INDRIYATI Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan LKS berbasis inquiry terbimbing materi pencemaran lingkungan untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development)dengan tahapan 1) pengumpulan informasi (research and information collecting), 2) perencanaan (planning), 3) pengembangan produk awal (developing preliminary form of product), 4) uji coba awal (preliminary field testing), 5) revisi hasil uji coba awal (main product revision), 6) uji operasional lapangan (operational product revision), 7) revisi terakhir produk (final product revision). Kelayakan LKS dinilai berdasarkan 3 aspek: (1) kevalidan, (2) kepraktisan, (3) keefektifan. Data kepraktisan LKS diperoleh menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif, sedangkan data keefektifan diperoleh menggunakan tes berpikir kritis dan dianalisis menggunakan Uji t. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan LKS yang valid dan layak digunakan baik dari aspek kesesuaian isi (96,9%) dan aspek konstruksi (97,7%)dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Kepraktisan LKS ditinjau dari respon guru dan siswa berdasarkan aspek kemenarikan (82,5%), kebermanfaatan (90,6%)dan keterbacaan (93,7%). Berdasarkan angket respon siswa, siswa menyatakan setuju bahwa LKS berbasis inquiry terbimbing ini membuat siswa lebih kritis serta dapat menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah. Uji coba LKS hasil pengembangan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis denga rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen (0,74)yang lebih tinggi dan berbeda nyata dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0,58). Hasil analisis sikap ilmiah diperoleh dari indikator sikap ilmiah kategori ingin tahu, berpikir kritis, respek terhadap data, berpikir terbuka dan kerja sama memiliki kategori “tinggi”, sedangkan untuk ketekunan berada pada kategori “sedang”. Kata kunci: inquiry terbimbing, kemampuan berpikir kritis, LKS, sikap ilmiah ABSTRACT THE DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDED INQUIRY-BASED WORKSHEET POLLUTION MATERIALS TO INCREASE STUDENTS CRITICAL THINKING AND SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDES SKILLS By RITA INDRIYATI The aim of this study is to develop the worksheet based on guided inquiry on environmental pollution material to grow critical thinking skill and scientific attitude in junior high school students. This study uses Research and Development with stages 1) research and information collecting, 2 planning, 3 developing preliminary form of products, 4) initial testing (preliminary field testing), 5) initial product revision, 6) operational product revision, 7) final product revision. The feasibility of worksheet was assessed based on 3 aspects: (1) validity, (2) practicality, (3) effectiveness. The data on worksheet practicality was obtained using questionnaires and analyzed qualitatively descriptive, while effectiveness data were obtained using critical thinking tests and analyzed using t test. The results of research and development of worksheets were valid and feasible to use both of conformity aspects (96.9%) and construction aspects ( 97.7%) in the "very valid" category. The practicality of worksheets was reviewed from the responses of teachers and students based on the aspects of attraction (82.5%), usefulness (90.6%) and readability (93.7%). Based on the student response questionnaire, students stated that the worksheet based on inquiry needed to make more critical and could foster a scientific attitude. The worksheet trial results of effective development increased the ability of critical thinking with an average N-gain experiment (0.74) which was higher and significantly different than the control class (0.58). The results of the analysis of science are obtained from the indications of scientific knowledge, thinking, respect for the data, thinking that the bank's management has a "high" category, while for the defense of the "medium" category.
