  • ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN e-LEARNING BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING SEBAGAI KOMPLEMEN PEMBELAJARAN ALAT OPTIK UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS SISWA Oleh Purwanti Budi Utami Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-Learning berbasis problem based learning sebagai komplemen pembelajaran alat optik untuk menumbuhkan Higher Order thinking Skills (HOTS). Penelitian ini merupakan research and development (R&D)dengan model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan tes kognitif dengan soal pada level HOTS. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil review ahli dan uji coba, sedangkan tes kognitif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills siswa dengan indikator menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan mencipta. Hasil validasi menurut para ahli dari segi materi sebesar 85% dan desain sebesar 85% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil observasi respon siswa terhadap produk mendapat skor 87% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil uji N-gain keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau HOTS siswa di kelas eksperimen untuk indikator menganalisis (0.74) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0.24), untuk indikator mengevaluasi (0,76)lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0.52), sedangkan untuk indikator mencipta (0,96)lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0.27). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran elektronik (e-Learning) berbasis problem based learning efektif untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan HOTS siswa. ABSTRACT THE DEVELOPMENT OF e-LEARNING BASED ON PROBLEM BASED LEARNING AS A LEARNING COMPLEMENT OF OPTICAL INSTRUMENT TO FOSTER STUDENTS’ HIGH ORDER THINKING SKILLS By Purwanti Budi Utami This study aims to develop an e-Learning based on “problem-based learning” as optical instrument learning complement to grow the High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This study used the model of research and development (R & D) with the development model of Borg & Gall. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and cognitive tests with questions at the HOTS level. The questionnaire was used to collect the data from the expert review and trial results, while cognitive tests were used to collect the data on the abilities of the students HOTS with indicators of analyzing, evaluating and creating. Validation results according to experts in terms of material is 85% and the design is 85% with very good criteria. The results of observations of students' responses to products score is 87% with very good criteria. The N-gain test results of students high-level thinking skills or HOTS in the experimental class for analyzing indicators (0.74) were higher than the control class (0.24), for evaluating indicators (0.76) higher than the control class (0.52), while for indicators creating (0.96) higher than the control class (0.27). The results of the study showed that e-Learning based on problem-based learning was effective to foster students' HOTS.
