- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pelaksanaan Program Upsus Pajale, mengetahui respon anggota kelompok tani, menganalisis faktor–faktor yang berhubungan dengan respon anggota kelompok tani, menganalisis hubungan antara respon dengan pendapatan petani anggota kelompok tani dalam Program Upsus Pajale. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja di Kecamatan Metro Barat. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 72 orang petani. Penelitan ini dilakukan pada Juni hingga Juli 2018. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pelaksanaan kegiatan program Upsus Pajale di Kecamatan Metro Barat meliputi kegiatan pengembangan jaringan irigasi, peningkatan produktivitas dan indeks pertanaman melalui gerakan penerapan pengolahan tanaman terpadu, penyediaan bantuan benih, pupuk, alat dan mesin pertanian, pengendalian organisme pengganggu tanaman dan penyuluhan dampak perubahan iklim, asuransi pertanian, serta pengawalan dan pendampingan program. Secara keseluruhan respon anggota kelompok tani dalam Program Upsus Pajale di Kecamatan Metro Barat Kota Metro merespon dengan baik program tersebut. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan respon anggota kelompok tani dalam Program Upsus Pajale adalah luas lahan. Faktor yang tidak berhubungan dengan respon anggota kelompok tani dalam Program Upsus Pajale adalah umur, tingkat pendidikan formal, pengalaman usahatani, dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga, serta terdapat hubungan antara respon dengan pendapatan anggota kelompok tani dalam Program Upsus Pajale. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research are to know the implementation and farmers group response of Upsus Pajale Program, to analyze the factors that related to the response of farmer group members, and to analyze the relationship between response of farmer group members and the farmers income in Upsus Pajale Program. The research was conducted purposively in West Metro Sub District. The samples research were 72 households farmers. The study was carried out from June to July 2018. The research use survey method, and the data was analyzed by using descriptive analyze and Rank Spearman correlation. The results of this study showed that the implementation of Upsus Pajale Program activities in West Metro Sub District included the development of irrigation networks, increasing productivity and cropping indices through the movement of implementing integrated crop management, providing seed assistance, fertilizer, agricultural machinery and equipment, controlling plant pests and counseling on the effects of climate change, agricultural insurance, escort and assistance program. Overall response of farmers group member in Upsus Pajale Program were well. Factor that related with the response of farmer group members in the Upus Pajale Program was land area. Factors that did not related with the response of farmer group members in the Upsus Pajale Program were age, level of formal education, farming experience and the number of family dependents. There was a relationship between response of farmer group member and the farmer income in the Upsus Pajale Program. Key word : Response, Member farmer group, Upsus Pajale Program.
