- ABSTRACT PARTICIPATION OF P3A MEMBER RICE FARMERS IN IRRIGATION WATER MANAGEMENT AT METRO SELATAN DISTRICT, METRO CITY, LAMPUNG PROVINCE By Deta Pratiwi This research aims to determine the level of participation of P3A member farmers in irrigation water management, factors related to the level of farmer participation, and rice farming income. This research is taken at P3A Tirto Mulyo II dan Ngudi Makmur Metro Selatan District, Metro City, Lampung Province on May 2018 September 2018 which has been chosen purposively and uses a survey method. Total respondents are 59 P3A members taken by using simple random sampling and the members consist of rice farmers. Data are analyzed by using quantitave descriptive analysis and Rank Spearman. The results of this research show that the level of participation of rice farmers in irrigation management activities is in the middle classification. Factors related to the level of participation of rice farmers in irrigation management are the role of P3A. The average income for the total cost of rice farming per ha in season-1 is Rp18.356.062,83 and in season-2 is Rp17.364.929,34.
