- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 230 siswa dengan sampel 63 siswa diperoleh melalui teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konsep diri dan skala komunikasi interpersonal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan antara konsep diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan, hal ini dibuktikan dengan analisis data di peroleh nilai rh > rt 0,382 > 0,254 dengan P = 0,02 < 0,05. Maka Ho di tolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal. Hal ini berarti semakin positif konsep diri siswa maka akan semakin tinggi komunikasi interpersonal siswa. Kata kunci: bimbingan konseling, komunikasi interpersonal, konsep diri. ABSTRACT Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of self concept with interpersonal communication in class VIII SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung. This study was a correlational quantitative descriptive study. The study population were to 230 students with a sample of 63 students obtained through simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used self concept scale and interpersonal communication scale. The data analysis technique used product moment correlation. The results showed that between self concept and interpersonal communication there was a positive and significant correlation, this is evidenced by the data analysis obtained by the value of r count = 0.382> r table = 0.254 with p <0.005. Then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion of the study was that there is a positive and significant the correlation of self concept with interpersonal communication.
