- Kearifan lokal merupakan suatu identitas budaya yang sudah dialami oleh masyarakat setempat yang harus terus menerus dilestarikan dan dijadikan pegangan hidup, salah satunya etnik Lampung Pepadun. Budaya yang multikultural di Lampung dan kemajuan zaman merupakan faktor penyebabnya budaya tergerus budaya lain. Kondisi ini memicu pada perubahan perilaku, nilai-nilai, tradisi masyarakat Lampung Pepadun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk strategi dan pola komunikasi keluarga etnik Lampung Pepadun di Kecamatan Rajabasa Kota Bandar Lampung untuk mempertahankan kearifan lokal Lampung etnik Pepadun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan didukung teori identitas sosial Henry Tajwell. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pola komunikasi yang dihasilkan berbentuk pola bintang dengan komunikasi multi arah. Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan menggunakan logat khas Lampung, dan menggunakan landasan hidup etnik Lampung, serta juga aktif dalam acara budaya adat Lampung. Kata kunci: Kearifan lokal, Etnik Lampung Pepadun, Strategi Komunikasi, Pola Komunikasi ABSTRACT COMMUNICATION PATTERNS AND STRATEGY IN MANTAIN THE LOCAL WISDOM OF LAMPUNG PEPADUN ETHNICITY (Studies On Lampung Pepadun Ethnicity Families In Rajabasa District Bandar Lampung City) By Amsal Oliver Sitompul Local wisdom is a cultural identity that has been experienced by local people which must be continuously preserved and become a way of life, one of them is Lampung Pepadun ethnicity. The multicultural culture in Lampung and the progress of time are the causes of rapid erosion of local culture by other cultures. This condition causes a lot of changes in behavior, values, traditions of people of Lampung Pepadun. This study aims to determine the form of strategy and communication patterns of Lampung Pepadun ethnicity families in Rajabasa District, Bandar Lampung City to maintain the local wisdom of Lampung Pepadun ethnicity. This research uses qualitative methods supported by Henry Tajwell's social identity theory. The results of this study indicate that the result of communication pattern is in the form of a star pattern with multi-directional communication. The communication strategy that are used in this research are Lampung accent, and the foundation of Lampung's ethnicity life, as well as being active in Lampung's traditional cultural events.
