- Di era global permasalahan yang dihadapi seseorang semakin kompleks, dan untuk memecahkan permasalahan dibutuhkan sumberdaya manusia berkualitas yakni mampu dalam menguasai konsep dan berkarakter disiplin sebagai bagian dari sikap ilmiah. Untuk itu, maka dibutuhkan upaya pengembangan bahan ajar berupa lembar kerja siswa (LKS) yang dapat melatih siswa mampu dalam penguasaan konsep, disiplin, dan terampil memecahkan masalah. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKS berbasis masalah pencemaran lingkungan untuk melatih siswa meningkatkan efektifitas dalam penguasaan konsep dan sikap disiplin. Desain penelitian dan pengembangan LKS ini menggunakan desain R&D Borg & Gall (dalam Sugiyono, 2015) meliputi 8 dari 10 tahapan, mulai dari penelitian & pengumpulan data sampai diseminasi & implementasi. Hasil pengembangan LKS dinyatakan sangat layak berdasarkan perolehan nilai validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media berturut-turut 99,22% dan 88,00%. Respon guru IPA atas kemanfaatan & kelayakan LKS menyatakan sangat manfaat 73% , manfaat 27%, sangat layak 40%, dan layak 60%. Respon siswa terhadap kemudahan LKS yang dikembangkan diperoleh nilai reratanya 73,00% mudah, 21,00% sangat mudah, dan 6,00% menyatakan kurang mudah. LKS efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa dengan perolehan n-gain sebesar 0,59 kategori sedang, effect size 0,84 kategori tinggi, dan meningkatkan ke-5 indikator sikap disiplin belajar siswa dengan nilai rerata frekuensi yaitu hadir di kelas belajar tepat waktu 3,75%, mematuhi kesepakatan kerjasama kelompok 17,5%, mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu 3,00%, menjaga kebersihan diri 1,3%, dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan 15,00%. _____ Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa, PBL, penguasaan konsep, disiplin ABSTRACT Globalism era makes one faces sophisticated problems, and solving the problems need a quality human that is able to acquire mastery concept and discipline as part of science’s attitude. According of the phenomenon it is needed endeavour to develop a students’ worksheet which is able to improve the students’ mastery concept, discipline, and problem solving. The aim of this research & development (R&D) is to produce the LKS of Environment Pollution with Problem Based Learning (PBL) order to increase the students’ mastery concept and discipline. Designing of the LKS development used Borg & Gall design stated by Sugiyono (2015) which coverage 8 of 10 stages, start from research & information collecting to the end namely dissemination & implementation. The results of LKS R&D indicated that is: 1) the development product of LKS with PBL formed, 2) the LKS effectively to improve students’ mastery concept with n-gain 0.59 middle category, effect size 0.84 high category, and increasing of mean frequences of whole five indicators of learning discipline with mean frequence that is present at the class on time 3,75%, follow role & regulation of the group 17,5%, task completion on time 3,00%, keeping of self-help healthy 1,3%, and keeping of clean environment 15,00%, 3) content, language, and display of the LKS with PBL was very feasible based on assessment result of a construct experts is 99.22%, a media expert is 88.00%, and three senior science teachers were response to the LKS’ that is very advantage 73% , advantage 27%, svery feasible 40% and feasible 60%. The students’ were response to the LKS’ readability with scoring of average easy 73.00%, very easy 21.00%, enough difficult 6.00%, & no one mentioned the LKS was very difficult. ______ Key words: students’ worksheet, PBL, mastery concept, discipline
