- Penelitian penggunaan model explicit instruction yang diterapkan di SMK PGRI 4 Bandar Lampung dilakukan untuk melihat proses dan hasil belajar tari Bedayo Tulang Bawang dengan berlandaskan teori behavioristik. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengamati secara langsung proses dan hasil dari pembelajaran tari Bedayo Tulang Bawang menggunakan model explicit instruction. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kemudian dilakukan analisis data. Guru menggunakan model explicit instruction melalui 5 tahapan yaitu menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran, mendemonstrasikan materi, latihan terbimbing, mengecek pemahaman dan memberikan umpan balik, serta melakukan latihan lanjutan. Hasil pembelajaran diukur dengan menggunakan indikator visual activities, motor activities, dan oral activities pada proses pembelajaran disetiap pertemuan serta dengan pengamatan tes praktik pada akhir pertemuan. Pengamatan tes praktik yang digunakan oleh guru meliputi penilaian mengenai bentuk gerak, hafalan gerak, kesesuaian gerak dengan musik serta ekspresi saat menari. Berdasarkan nilai pengamatan tes praktik, terdapat dua orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai tertinggi yaitu 95 dengan kriteria baik sekali. Sementara nilai terendah yaitu 60 dengan kriteria cukup dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai tersebut sebanyak tiga orang. Adapun hasil belajar seluruh siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,1, dengan kriteria nilai baik. Kata kunci: Model explicit instruction, Pembelajaran, dan Tari Bedayo Tulang Bawang ABSTRACT Research on the use of explicit instruction models applied at SMK PGRI 4 Bandar Lampung was conducted to see the process and learning outcomes of Bedayo Tulang Bawang dance based on behavioristic theory. This research is a qualitative descriptive research type that directly observes the process and results of dance learning Bedayo Tulang Bawang using explicit instruction model. The data obtained is done by observation, interviews, and the documentation is then analyzed by the data. The teacher uses the explicit instruction model through 5 stages, namely conveying the learning objectives, demonstrating material, guided exercises, checking understanding and providing feedback, and carrying out advanced exercises. Learning outcomes are measured by using indicators of visual activities, motor activities, and oral activities in the learning process in each meeting and by observing practical tests at the end of the meeting. Observation of practical tests used by the teacher include assessments of the form of motion, memorization of motion, suitability of motion with music and expression when dancing Based on the practice test observation scores, there are two students who get the highest score of 95 with excellent criteria While the lowest value is 60 with enough criteria and students who get this value as many as three people.
