- Background: The use of cooking oil increases with the years, so often cooking oil is used repeatedly (used cooking oil). The consumption of used cooking oil can increase the levels of free radicals and fatty acids in the body which can cause vascular endothelial dysfunction and excessive free fatty acids in the blood will easily attach to the inner walls of blood vessels. There are many ways to reduce the effect of used cooking oil.one of them is by giving lemon waterObjective: To know the effect of lemon water to coronary artery histopatology of male white rats givenby reused cooking oil.Method: The type of this research is pure laboratory experimental design with post test only control group designs. The population was 8-10 weeks old with 20male rat samples strain Sprague dawleydivided into 4 experimental groups.Result: In this study a significantgroup was found in all groups with an analysis test using Kruskal Wallis with the results obtained p value <0.05, which wasK0:0,028,K-:0,028,P1:0,028, and P2:0,047.Conclusion: There is an effect of giving used cooking oil to the histopathology picture of coronary artery and there is an effect of giving lemon water to the histopathology picture of coronary artery of male Sprague dawley white rats (Rattus norvergicus) who have been given used cooking oilKeyword : Lemon water, Reused cooking oil, Coronary artery lumen diameter iiiABSTRAKPENGARUH PEMBERIAN AIR LEMON (Citrus limon) PADA GAMBARAN HISTOPATOLOGI ARTERI KORONARIA TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus norvegicus) JANTAN GALUR Sprague dawleyYANG DIBERIMINYAK JELANTAHOlehSITI RAQIYA RASYIDLatar Belakang: Penggunaan minyak goreng semakin meningkat seiring bertambahnya tahun., hingga seringkali minyak goreng di gunakan secara berulang (minyak jelantah). Konsumsi minyak jelantah dapat meningkatkan kadar radikal bebas dan asam lemak dalam tubuhyangdapat menyebabkan disfungsi endotel pembuluh darah dan asam lemak bebas yang berlebihan dalam darah akan mudah melekat pada dinding bagian dalam pembuluh darah.Ada banyak cara untuk mengurangi pengaruh minyak jelantah salah satunya adalah dengan pemberian air lemon.Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air lemon (Citrus limon)terhadap gambaranhistopatologi pembuluh darah arteri koronaria tikus putih (Rattus norvergicus)yang diberi minyak jelantah.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalahdesain eksperimental metode rancangan acakterkontrol dengan pola post test only control group designs. Populasi berupa tikusputih jantan galur Sprague dawleyberjumlah 24 ekoryang berusia 8-10 minggu dibagi kedalam 4 kelompokpercobaan.Hasil: Pada penelitian ini kelompok bermakna terdapat pada semua kelompok denganuji analisis menggunakanKruskal Wallis dengan hasil didapatkan nilai p<0,05 yaituK0:0,028,K-:0,028,P1:0,028,dan P2:0,047.Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh pemberian minyak jelantah terhadap gambaran histopatologi pembuluh darah arteri koronaria dan terdapat pengaruh pemberian air lemon terhadap gambaran histopatologi pembuluh darah arteri koronaria tikus putih (Rattus norvergicus)jantan galur Sprague dawleyyang diberi minyak jelantah.Kata Kunci : Air lemon, Minyak jelantah, Diameter lumen arteri koronaria
