- E-PPID diluncurkan sebagai wujud komitmen KPU dalam mendukung keterbukaan informasi publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan: 1) Dampak evaluasi kebijakan E-PPID di KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran; 2) Pelaksanaan dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan E-PPID di KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran tidak efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Kebijakan E-PPID di KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran tidak mengubah cara masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi tentang kepemiluan melalui E-PPID KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran. 2) Kebijakan E-PPID di KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran tidak efektif disebabkan perangkat lunak dikendalikan oleh KPU RI, sumber daya manusia tidak tetap, masih minim perangkat komputer dan perangkat komunikasi, pengamanan terhadap server belum kuat, belum ada sarana untuk memberikan kritik dan masukan dalam aplikasi. Rekomendasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perlu modifikasi content (isi) dari website dan halaman E-PPID KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran agar menarik dan dikunjungi oleh pengguna informasi publik, keseriusan tata kelola teknologi informasi dalam pengelolaan E-PPID KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran sebagai wujud pelayanan prima, istilah “Pejabat” dalam nama Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID) sebaiknya diubah menjadi Pengelola Layanan Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PLID) yang layanan digitalnya bisa menjadi E-PLID, agar masyarakat tidak takut meminta pelayanan informasi publik. Perlu adanya layanan aplikasi online yang bersifat terpadu dan terintegrasi di KPU khususnya pada KPU Kabupaten Pesawaran. This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection methods. The results of this study are: 1) The E-PPID policy in the Pesawaran Regency KPU does not change the way people get information about electoral through Pesawaran Regency KPU E-PPID. 2) The E-PPID policy in the Pesawaran Regency KPU is not effective because the software is controlled by the KPU RI, non-permanent human resources, computer equipment and communication devices are lacking, security for the server is not strong, there is no means to provide criticism and input in the application . Recommendations from the results of this study are necessary to modify the content (content) of the website and page of KPU Pesawaran E-PPID page to be interesting and visited by public information users, the seriousness of information technology governance in the management of Pesawaran Regency KPU E-PPID as a form of excellent service, the term "Officials" in the name of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) should be converted into Information and Documentation Service Managers (PLID) whose digital services can be E-PLID, so that people are not afraid to request public information services.
