- ABSTRAK KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT NELAYAN PANTAI LABUHAN JUKUNG KRUI KABUPATEN PESISIR BARAT Oleh Endri Yunita Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan kondisi sosial ekonomi di masyarakat nelayan yang berada di pantai Labuhan Jukung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan ethnografi menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara mendalam kepada nelayan di pantai Labuhan Jukung, observasi kegiatan nelayan pada saat melaut dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kehidupan social ekonomi nelayan. Indikator-indikatornya dapat dilihat dari; 1) Sumber daya manusia rendah karena pendidikan masyarakat nelayan yang rendah dengan rata-rata lulusan SMP, 2) Tingkat pendapatan rendah sehingga mereka kekurangan modal untuk membeli peralatan tangkap yang akan mempengaruhi produktivitas, 3) Rendahnya produktivitas karena teknologi tangkap yang masih sederhana, 4) kesadaran terhadap kesehatan rendah meskipun akses kesehatan ada, 4) Pola hidup nelayan yang terlihat konsumtif tanpa melihat kepentingan jangka panjang, 5) Kebijakan pemerintah yang belum tepat sasaran sehingga masyarakat nelayan di Pantai Labuhan Jukung merasa terabaikan, 6) Keadaan sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang demikian mengakibatkan terganggunya stabilitas kerja dan kemajuan daerah. Kesimpulan penelitian kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat nelayan di Pantai Labuhan Jukung dengan kondisi pada saat ini belum banyak berubah karena program pemerintah berdasarkan visi misi pemekaran belum menyentuh kehidupan nelayan sehingga menimbulkan kemiskinan struktural dalam masyarakat. Kata Kunci : Sosial Ekonomi, Masyarakat Nelayan, Kemiskinan Struktural. ABSTRACT Socio-Economic conditions of Fisherman Beach Community Labuhan Jukung Krui West Coast Regency By Endri Yunita This study refer to reveal the socio-economic conditions in fishing communities located on Labuhan Jukung beach. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with fishermen on Labuhan Jukung beach, observation of fishermen's activities at sea and documentation. The results showed that;the results did not significantly change the socio-economic life of fishermen. The indicators can be seen from; 1) Human resources are low because of the low education of fishing communities with the average junior high school graduate, 2) Low income level so that they lack capital to buy fishing equipment that will affect productivity, 3) Low productivity due to simple capture technology, 4) low awareness of health even though health access exists 4) 3) Low productivity due to simple capture technology, 4) low awareness of health even though health access exists, 4) fishing life patterns that appear to be consumptive without looking at long-term interests, 5) government policies that are not on target so fishing communities on the coast Labuhan Jukung feels neglected, 6) The socio-economic situation of the community results in disruption of work stability and progress in the area. Conclusion of the study Research : The socio-economic conditions of fishermen communities in Labuhan Jukung Beach after the expansion have not yet progressed significantly with the conditions at the time of expansion because government programs based on the vision and mission of have not touched the lives of fishermen resulting in structural poverty in the community.
