- ABSTRACT ENHANCEMENT OF TEXT WRITING ABILITY NEWS THROUGH TTW LEARNING MODEL (THINK TALK WRITE) ATSTUDENT OF CLASS VIII STATE 16 OF SMP PESAWARAN 2017/2018 LESSON YEAR By RUDI HERMAWAN The problem in this study is the low ability to write news texts of Class VIII students of State Middle School 16 Pesawaran 2017/2018 Academic Year. This study aims to describe (1) the learning plan, (2) the implementation of learning, (3) learning assessment and (4) improving learning through TTW (Think Talk Write) lear¬ning news text material for State Middle School students 16 Pesawa¬ran 2017 Academic Year/2018. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The place of research in State Junior High School 16 Pesawaran. Cycle I and cycle II through the application of the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model using event video media. Data collection is done through observation, observation and tests. The results showed that (1) the learning plan through the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model in the first cycle, the results of the RPP value of 70.83 and silus II 87.50 in the excellent category; (2) the implementation of learning, in the first cycle the process evaluation results were 72.28 and in the second cycle 87.78 in the excellent category; (3) the results of the ability to write news text through the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pesawaran 2017/2018 Academic Year, in the first cycle obtain an average score of 71.83 and the second cycle obtain grades an average of 87.17 with complete categories; (4) learning activities as a whole, both from learning planning, implementation of learning, and assessment of learning from the first cycle and second cycleexperienced a significant increase. ABSTRAK PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TTW (THINK TALK WRITE) PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 16 PESAWARAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2017/2018 Oleh RUDI HERMAWAN Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan menulis teks berita peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pesawaran Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) rencana pembelajaran, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (3) penilaian pembelajaran dan (4) peningkatan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran TTW (Think Talk Write) materi menulis teks berita pada siswa SMP Negeri 16 Pesawaran Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tempat penelitian di SMP Negeri 16 Pesawaran. Siklus I dan siklus II melalui penerapan model pembelajaran TTW (Think Talk Write) menggunakan media video peristiwa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan, observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) rencana pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran TTW (Think Talk Write) pada siklus I, hasil nilai RPP sebesar 70,83 dan silus II 87,50 dalam kategori amat baik; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pada siklus I hasil penilaian proses sebesar 72,28 dan pada siklus II sebesar 87,78 dalam kategori sangat baik; (3) hasil kemampuan menulis teks berita melalui model pembelajaran TTW (Think Talk Write) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Pesawaran Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018, pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 71,83 dan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 87,17dengan kategori tuntas; (4) kegiatan pembelajaran secara keseluruhan, baik dari perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran dari siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.
