Mineral yang bekerja sama dengan PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) bertujuan
untuk membantu masyarakat menengah ke bawah, namun kenyataannya tidak seluruh
masyarakat dapat menikmati jaringan gas rumah tangga, sehingga menimbulkan
berbagai macam persepsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat persepsi
masyarakat mengenai pembangunan jaringan gas rumah tangga. Metode yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan
data dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 177 responden dengan menggunakan
sistem pengambilan acak distrafikasi dan wawancara kepada 6 informan dengan
menggunakan purposive sampling di 2 lingkungan. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan
indikator kognitif, afektif, dan evaluatif menunjukkan kategori negatif dengan
persentase yang lebih tinggi yaitu masyarakat tidak mendukung pembangunan
jaringan gas rumah tangga. Masyarakat pengguna menunjukkan aspek kognitif
dengan persentase sebesar 51,80%, aspek afektif dengan persentase sebesar 54,10%,
dan aspek evaluatif dengan persentase sebesar 42,40%, sedangkan masyarakat bukan
pengguna menunjukkan aspek kognitif dengan persentase sebesar 43,50%, aspek
afektif dengan persentase sebesar 68,50%, dan aspek evaluatif dengan persentase
sebesar 63,10%. Sosialisasi yang tidak menyeluruh menyebabkan banyak masyarakat
tidak mengetahui manfaat yang dihasilkan dari program sehingga tidak menggunakan
jaringan gas rumah tangga. Masyarakat pengguna cenderung mendukung, sedangkan
masyarakat bukan pengguna cenderung tidak mendukung program ini.

PUBLIC PERCEPTION ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF THE
HOUSEHOLD GAS NETWORK
(Studied at Kelapa Tiga District, Tanjung Karang Pusat Sub District,
Bandar Lampung city)

Development of household gas network by the energy and mineral resources who
collaborated with gas company negaran ( persero ) aimed at helping people from
lower middle class, but the fact socialization is not touch throughout the community
sparking various perception. The purpose of this research is to see the public
perception of development gas network households. Methods used in a research is
descriptive quantitative. Engineering data collection by spreading kuisioner to 177
respondents using retrieval system random distrafikasi and interview to 6 informants
using purposive sampling in 2 environment. Research results based on an indicator
cognitive, affective, and evaluative show category negatively by higher percentage
that is the community does not support development of household gas network.
Community members using show cognitive aspects with the percentage of 51,80%,
affective aspects with the percentage of 54,10%, and evaluative aspects with the
percentage of 42,40 %, while the one not using show cognitive aspects with the
percentage of 43,50 %, affective aspects with the percentage of 68,50%, and
evaluative aspects with the percentage of 63,10%. Socialization did not extend caused
many they do not know benefit resulting from this program and So that it wouldn’t
use the network house gas households. Tending to favor the user community, while
the nonusers doesn’t support this program.
