- Salah satu kelompok tani yang mengelola hutan rakyat di Desa Air Kubang adalah Kelompok Tani Tunas Karya II. Terdapat berbagai pola tanam hutan rakyat yang telah diterapkan oleh petani hutan rakyat, akan tetapi belum diketahui keuntungan optimal dari berbagai pola tanam tersebut. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah pola tanam di lahan petani, sistem pengelolaan hutan rakyat, jumlah biaya yang dikeluarkan dan penerimaan yang dihasilkan, jumlah keuntungan optimal serta pengaruh perubahan ketersediaan sumberdaya terhadap keuntungan optimal pada Kelompok Tani Tunas Karya II di Desa Air Kubang Kecamatan Air Naningan Kabupaten Tanggamus. Variabel yang digunakan meliputi penerimaan hutan rakyat, biaya produksi dan pengeluaran petani hutan rakyat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan program linear dengan bantuan software QM for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata penerimaan petani hutan rakyat per tahun sebesar Rp. 20.992.344,- dan rata-rata biaya Hasanatun Diah Eka Wuri produksi yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp.3.544.659,-/ha/th. Penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp.21.159.218,-/ha/th. keuntungan optimal yang didapat sebesar Rp.1.241.894.000/ha/th. Berdasarkan pengolahan program linear dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan sumberdaya yang sudah optimal yaitu penggunaan lahan, dan pupuk, sedangkan pada penggunaan bibit dan tenaga kerja belum optimal. Kata Kunci : hutan rakyat, program linier, optimalisasi lahan. ABSTRACT One of the farmer group that manages the private forests in Air Kubang Village was Tunas Karya II Farmer Group. There were various private forest planting patterns that had been implemented by the private forest farmers, but the optimal profit of these various cropping patterns was not yet known. This research aimed to find out the number of cropping patterns on the farmer’s land, the private forest management system, the number of costs incurred and receipts generated, the optimal number of profit and the effect of changes in resource availability on the optimal profits at Tunas Karya II Farmers Group in Air Kubang Village, Air Naningan Sub-District, Tanggamus District. The variables used included community forest receipts, production costs, and expenditure of private forest farmers. This research method used linear programming with the help of QM for Windows software. The results showed that the average annual private forest farmer income was Rp.20.992.344,-/ha/yr and the average production costs incurred were Rp.3.544.659,-/ha/yr. The average income was Rp.21.159.218,- /ha/yr. The optimal profit obtained was Rp.1.241.894.000/ha/yr. Based on the linear program, it could be seen that the optimal use of resources was land use and fertilizer, while the use of seeds and labor were not optimal.
